Picking up my new Skeeter MX 1825 next weekend and wondered if I need to invest in Rock Tamers to protect my investment. Right now I have large mudflaps on my f-150, but is this enough to keep rocks off the boat. Any opinions welcome.

Hey Drew, You can never have to much protection for your new Baby.

If you aren’t running gravel roads I would think your ok with just the Mud Flaps.

Congrats on the new Rig! Make sure to post pics!

If you are going to drive on gravel for any length of time I would invest in a tow tector. I own one ,its ugly but it works.Don’t want to chip a pretty, brand new boat.Congrats on the new ride!

No, not much gravel to travel on, that’s why I was curious if I need them or not. I am anxious to pick the boat up next weekend and hit the water. You know when the two best days of a boat owner’s life are don’t you. The day you pick up the new boat and the day that you sell it I will get pictures up next weekend.

I have them on my truck. They work well and are built to last.
