    Hey you guys… Anyone know anything about Serpent Lake.

    I fished it a couple years ago and plan to get back there soon. The lake is just over 1000 acres with about 8 miles of shoreline. I was targeting eyes but also found decent pike and bass action. Talking to locals, I also heard that the panfish action is good. In the town of Crosby there is a nice city park with boat ramps and adjacent camping. To find out about camping stop at the city hall which is a accross the ball field from the campground. The lake is infested with eurasian water milfoil.
    Overall I give the lake a good rating and worth checking out when your in the Mille lacs and Brainerd area.
