I got off of work at noon
It is 78 degrees
It is a perfect day to go fishing
And I have the flu
What it your story?

CG, check the post “beer or bait”….
I got up this morning and looked at my desk…well with all the papers I really could see the desk. I knew I should have finished up some work, but it was so nice outside I said to myself…Self, if you can find some crappie minnows without going to Hudson, you’re going fish’en for a couple hours.
Couldn’t find a minnow…bummed…So I said the heck with it. About noon, I figured I could get about an hour and a half in before the wife comes home…guess what…she came home early…back to work I went.
Now it’s raining….
I can beat it. I live in a place that’s going more ghetto by the minute. I have kids playing stomping games on my ceiling all night long. It’s 70+ degrees and the water is perfect but I need to move so damn bad all I can do is look for places to live that are way over budget. rock.
FLU UP-DATE
Lesson one:Don’t go to work two days in a row sicker then a dog
Lesson two: Don’t wait to long before you seek medical attention
Why Because 6 hours in the ER and 5 prescriptions later means that not only did I miss the last to beautifuls days (perfect for fishing), but I am spending the weekend in bed as well.
Take care of yourself Cheri, and get well soon so you can get back on the water!!!

Hope this makes you feel better….The fish wheren’t biting anyway!
Well, a bad day fishing is better then working. As for feeling better – being doped up does wonders, makes me want to be out fishing now, except, I’d most likely end up in the “drink”, and then I’d have a whole nother problem.
