I finally broke down and purchased a digital camera. Since I fish by myself most of the time, I am wondering what kind of mounting/securing systems others use to take pictures of themselves when fishing alone. While I am usually fond of the trial and error process. I can’t imagine the trouble I would be in if I had to explain to the wife how the camera ended up on the bottom of the river.
I use the Clamperpod. Works pretty slick.
your not going to be the price or convenience of that tool Jon!…. good one… looks like something we could ALL use… oh sure… it wont replace a $1000 tripod,head and clamp system…. but, on the other hand its cheap, built well, compact, and easy to use!… the other system is NONE of those!…. (ooops.. well, OK.. for that kind of jing it BETTER be well built!)
