St. Croix Smallmouth

    I was fishing walleyes on the Croix and caught this nice 20″ smallmouth, man did she fight. I thought I had the big walleye on, the way she stayed down, but was still a pleasant surprise.

    Nice fish sir! I caught one of my best smallies trolling for walleyes up on Mille Lacs about 6 years ago. Always a nice surprise when that happens!
