Walker area campground?

    My dad And I want to make a quick 2 day trip to Leech. So Im looking for campgrounds on or close to Leech that allow tents. I was thinking of Stoney point campground, but I dont know if its private or state owned. Any help would be great!

    Stoney Point is a National Forest Service campground, so shouldn’t be affected by the State shutdown. Stayed there a couple of times; it’s nice as far as shower house and such go.
    My favorite is the Corps of Engineers campground at Federal Dam. Really nice showerhouse AND fish cleaning shack.

    Acorn Hills has camping, is right on the south side of Pine Point and they allow tents… Acorn Hill Resort

    They have tent camping on the shores of leech lake…its not on the main lake…walker bay near the landing on the west side near hgwy 371

    Thanks guys I just got a spot reserved at Stoney point.
