    Guys,
The FW is really into the American Idol finale, she can’t understand why I won’t sit and watch it with her. I tried to tell her that I need to check out the reports on IDO and she just gives me this blank stare, like…What?

Man I’m glad it’s almost done ……….Anyone else have similar issues with it?

I had tears coming out of both eyes when she was singing her final song to her Mother tonight.

Wow! What a moment for a parent! Moving.

The FW kept yaking in the back ground, something about reruns of the Twins game on cable.

Is there anything else on TV besides reality TV.

Rather not even watch the tube.

Kinda funny though, my wife believes these websites are worse than reality TV. I must be online way to much.

Rulon was on Biggest Loser and he had quit mid season so he was not invited back.

As the share of prime time given to reality shows and talent contests increases, I find myself reading more books. Not necessarily a bad thing.

You may be right, add when you do find a program it’s what… 40% commericals now?

Enjoy the history channel and a few others, but it’s getting hard to justify paying for cable when there’s so few decent programs on now.

Wife watches AI and Dancing with the Stars, if it keeps her happy…so be it.

    Al…ok…ok…I watch them too…:)

That was very good. I enjoy the show somewhat. I think there were two others with a lot more talent than these two. My wife loves Dancing With the Stars as well. I generally am online at the time but have to admit I don’t mind looking up at the costumes the girls wear on the show.

Guys, if you don’t want to watch with the significant other, but she insists, just do what I do. Talk to the TV. Ask her questions about the show like what happened to___ and offer your own commentary. Say what is going to be said on a commercial during commercial breaks. Works like a charm.

Now when I do want to watch with her, I just keep my yap shut and promise her that I won’t say a word.
