Sounds like Traverse was the place to be. lots of limits and nice fish caught. There were some pretty good numbers caught in test nets this past winter too.

Water temps are in the upper 50s seen 59 yesterday, didn’t fish much but the shoreline areas that normaly are loaded were void of fish, did some scaning and founf the 7to10 ft sreas were loaded with fish, don’t know what kind becauseit was at this point I relized I 200 gallons of water in the boat tiny hole, lots of water! Talked to a bunch of different groups who fish it every year and there are limits coming but that’s only 4 fish, not like normal years during the early opener, slow for most, but when you get on them they go, this spring is different

Water levels are never normal out there but id say its about a foot high from last year. Awsome lake, with great big fish, but watch out for the rocks, there’s a lot of them, just under the surface and no markers, map chip is key!
