I’m sure that most people are aware that the walleye opener on Big Stone and Traverse lakes is the last weekend of April and if you know about the opener then maybe you’ve fished either lake or considered fishing them. If you haven’t fished them, then consider doing it this year. The past two years have been very good for numbers and size The methods to catch fish are endless, everything from pulling plugs to pitching jigs into shallow water has worked.
