Try a Sportsman Connection book. They are divided up in the state regionally and will give you good information on lesser known lakes but not all. It depends on the size and access. If they dont have it in there then I wouldnt know. They have these books at any Gander or good fishing supply store in the state. They cost about $20 but they are free to look at in the store. Good Luck! Another option would be Lake- Link. They have a search engine for lakes or you can do a search on there fishing report forum. Just about any lake in the state that has fish should come up there!
This is the only Lake Thompson I could find on the Sportsman web site
