Upper St. Croix Lake Solon Springs?

Going camping up there with a couple buddies a weekend after next. Lucius Woods. Anyone have any experience on this lake?

i have fished it a bit over the years. i am up there mid june normally though. get crappies on the north end of the lake then. the bluegill fishing is good. small mouth and walleye can be had around the island. last few years the eyes were mostly just short of 15 but got a few keepers. also have done good on walleye in 12 ft of water along the weedlines on the east side of the lake. some nice pike but it is definetly loaded with hammerhandles. good luck. post a report not sure if i am going to make it this year but my grandpa and uncles will be up in the area in june
