Rented one of Dennys shacks on Sat. A 6 holer for 4 of us. $80 split 4 ways was well worth it and would have even been better if we had stayed for the evening bite also. We keep 40 dandy perch, 1 walleye, and 2 sizable northerns. Boobered a few on small glow jigs, Jigged up most on a 1/16th oz black &purple bucktail tipped with fatheads. We were in 32ft of water off of one off the midlake humps. Was blowing and cold and Dennys plowed roads. Good access on to the lake from there. Good people and very helpful with some starting info. We started about 8am and main bite was over about 10am. We left in the afternoon as a couple of the boys owed evening dates to their wives….sure wish we could have stayed for that bite at dusk!

I was up there Saturday also and it was definitely windy. We got there about 10 am and fished the whole day. We ended up with a few jumbo perch, but the bite was very slow.
