Moses and Snaghole have been fairly consistent. THe south east edge of Center bar has been pretty good to. The key to most of these areas is the depth….26-34 feet, seems to be the best as of late. If you have any small humps on your GPS these are loaded with some nice perch and eyes as well.

    Good Luck

Where exactly is the “Snag Hole”and center Bar? Ive fished it open water Memorial Day for the past 6-7 years and the Third River in the winter but have never heard of them. Are they good in the Summer too?

Both of these areas are good during the summer months…times better than others. If you buy a Winnie GPS map both spots are labeled with coordinates. I believe Bens Bait has the maps for sale. They cost about six bucks if I remember right. If Bens doesn’t have them ask where you can get one.

If you decide to go another route and don’t have a GPS, go out of Dennys, Nodaks or Judds resort on the South end of the lake and look for the cluster of shanties….for the most part they are fishing Moses, Snaghole..(closest group to shore), Center bar, Bena bar, or horseshoe…all good spots…if your not getting the action you want either try deeper or try another spot….
