snow is deep! plan on walking threw deep slush! tried it tonight and turned around and went home! had the wheeler stuck in the slush!
guess ill go back to bow hunting for a week or so!

hawkeye27Posts: 324December 13, 2010 at 12:39 pm #916709It is a tough go out here. went out this weekend found 4 to 6 inches of ice but noticed walking out along the shore there would be spots of open water. Maybe a 10 to 16 inch hole with a lot of water setting on top . Found fish but nothing that really wanted to bite. Be safe and let me know how ya do.

December 30, 2010 at 2:24 pm #920883I was out on tue. and went to french the walk was bad.The snow was up to my knee and the slush was to the bottom of my calf and maybe 5″ of ice.Next i went to mazzaska and alot better walking path and ice.
