Need ice conditions for Frances

    Just wondering if there is any open water on Frances? Any danger spots anyone knows of? I’m heading there new years day and i want to get away from the crowd on the west end and walk out into the main basin off the east side of carpenters point.

    None that I know of….there should be 10 inches on the west end now, but less on the deeper main lake. There were lot’s of guys buying up the big shiners and heading out there? Hmm?
