nest lake

    I’ll be heading to Nest Lake near Willmar.The last time I fished there was the spring of ’99. We caught some real nice smallies and northern. Does anyone have any current info on this lake?? What areas would be best to target this fall

    Do you stay on the lake ? If you’d like to try another lake close by, Green Lake, about 3 miles down the road in Spicer, has awesome Walleye, Bass & Pike action. I know some “spots” there.

    Yes, we are staying at Island View resort again. we fished Green a little when we were there in 99. If I remember correctly, all bass were C & R and release back then. I’ve been reading on a few other forums that some think the smallies population is hurting the walleyes in Green I’m sure we’ll fish green at least a day or 2.
