    Anybody doing well rigging yet?

I would think that bite would be picking up soon.

It sucked for me last weekend. I’ll be trying again tomorrow, though.

Got out and did some rigging on the NE corner yesterday and only picked up 3 fish. A 19, 19.5, and a 21.
It could just be my bad luck but I am shocked that I am not marking or catching more fish as we typically do year in and year out rigging up there. I understand the fish being long gone and moving to deeper gravel and such last year, but I am shocked this bite is not on fire.
Oh well, always next time. Maybe I’ll pitch some jigs next time up. I just always look forward to and enjoy the rigging bite and have not connected on it yet.
    Good Luck!

I had about the same luck. All fish came on crawlers. Nothing on leeches.

Water temp was only 46-47F. I suspect next weekend will begin to turn on with warmer air temp forcasted during the week.

I caught 19 fish over the weekend, zero rigging, zero corking, 18 on cranks and 1 on a swim jig. Hope it warms up this week.

I picked up three in about 10 min rigging last week in 12-15ft. Moving extremely slow nothing above .3mph. Had to get off the lake due to motor problems.
