    Wondering what size perch won the contest out of Hunters yesterday? Been fishing quite a bit on the pond this year and haven’t caught a perch yet.

    From memory, 3rd place was aorund 1.09 lbs, 2nd Place was about 1.17 lbs and 1st was around 1.27 lbs…. not very big perch at all. Our group had 1 about 10 or 11 oz… well the 1 guy that was actually fishing anyways…

    Thanks big G. Sounds like a blast! I have been wanting to fish this event the last few years but it seems that it is always on the weekend that I have to work..

    It is a blast ! Were hitting the next 2 weekends up there for perch events, the Extravganza is at Hunters again and then Dickies Whitecap Inn has his the next weekend Dickie has a Hog Roast at his also…. YUMMY !!!

    Sounds like fishing perch is a waste of time. Especially considering I am bringing my wife this weekend and a slow bite or hard fishing is not something she can handle. Looks like snowmobiles and party. I plan to run into some of you guys. I’ll look for or call Jon J on Sat afternoon.

    We will have to a few then… last weekend between the jello-shots, drunk pineapple, the shotski and the cherry bombs, we had a few beers too
