My brother and I fished the West side on Friday and Saturday nights with good success. Our best success was on the rocks in 8-9 FOW trolling # 12 Husky Jerks at around 1.6 to 1.7 mph with some slow rod sweeps mixed in. Best colors were black/gold amd tennessee shad. We also caught some walleyes in 13-14 FOW outside the weedline trolling shad shaped crank baits. Lots of fish in the 20-23 inch range with about 6-7 24 inch or better fish mixed in each night. Our biggest walleye was 27 inches. We caught 3-4 skinny fish but most were fat and healthy. We had 18 walleyes on Friday night and 22 walleyes on Saturday. Good luck to anyone heading up as the fish we caught were very aggressive despite the colder temps!

The numbers of fish a night were down for us this year but we caught some really decent fish. We fished out of Terry’s landing all 4 nights and had good fish. The biggest was a 29 and 3 at 28 with a bunch in the 23 to 25 range. Dave I thought that was you Saturday night as we trolled by, was going to say hi but was not 100% sure.

We did stay at Red Door, we left Monday morning. We got to talk to your buddies Sunday afternoon for a bit. I asked where you were? How did you guys do?
