I use lead core on the river but have never tried it on millacs, if i was to troll the top of the flats at say 24 feet what would be the best lure to use i am bring my son and nephew up for three days this weekend and for 8 days the following week thought we might give this a try for a change of pace.

Or to never get closer than a half mile from the flats.

Caught 32 today with lead and fire line in 8 hours – the bite was pretty good and noticeably better in the morning. Closest structure was ~1 mile away

We (FW&I) were out too yesterday for 2.5 hrs. Boated 8 fish. As stated, stay away from the structure. Caught them in 24-30′ down in 34 fow.
