Water temp on Tuesday started out at 47 degrees air temp was 43, The water warmed up to 55 degrees by the end of the day and the air tepm was at 73 degrees. We caught fish suspended at 15′ over 20′-25′. The fish we caught were around 11″ but heavy. It sure take care of the winter blues. Honey creek is in the State park and you can leave a boat in near the camp site. There are sites close by just down the hill to the water. The boat ramp is right near the camp site about a block or two away. Email me back and let us know how you did if you go. Good luck Slamdog.

    Slamdog,

It’s been a couple weeks since I’ve been over there, what’s the water clarity like now?

Saw fish coming off the jetty and other rocky points around Honey Creek area. Live bait under a slip bobber seemed to be the most productive. The majority were smaller fish. Jigs and plastic took a few of the bigger fish tho.
