    Brian that’s a long way from home for ya… Never got to fish it while I was in NE IA, but the Volga river is supposed to be pretty good for SMB.

    Check the Iowa DNR website for the latest fishing report. They update it weekly.

    The Volga is a good smallmouth river Mark and a real nice canoe river too boot.

    im in the area for work and we did get out fishing and boated tons of 8 inch crappies / good time!!!!
