Looking for ideas for a trip in the 2nd week of March 2017 with walleye as main target. Could be in the boat or on ice. Open to Canada ideas. I fish pool 4 a lot and thats kind of the plan c if we can’t come up with another idea but looking for something new with trophy potential.

I agree with Biggill! That is prime time for Lake Winnipeg. If you can find a place to stay it is some of the best walleye ice fishing you may ever experience!

Probably Winnipeg, Minnesota lakes will be closed season. LOTW, or Wisconsin rivers feeding Lake Winnebago or Green Bay?? Evidently those have trophy walleye opportunities during a time frame around that time in March depending on ice out.
