I finally got out ice fishing on Saturday. Hopefully I can squeeze a few more trips in before the end of the month. Here’s the biggest of 8 lakers we caught up the Gunflint Trail.

Nice fish, WH! How was the snow and slush?
The slush wasn’t bad on that particular lake. I tried to go fishing a few weeks earlier and the slush was up to my knees so I just went home. I have a couple of trips planned for the end of March. I was excited for ice fishing this winter but between the wind, cold, and slush it’s been a bust.
