all right with it being -22 here this morning in sw wisco I couldn’t help thinking of camping and bonfires. Then came my favorite thing bout camping and that is bacon, egg, cheese sandwiches in the pie irons, which brought me to this post.
Cook 3 or 4 pieces using the pie iron as a skillet, then right before it is crispy crack your egg right on top of the bacon, flip a time or to cooking pretty much done, then butter bread, put egg and cheese in the middle and toast like normal. they are unbelievable specially with a little runny yoke. grilled ham and cheese always good. My mom likes to make cherry and blueberry pies. Lets hear some other killer sandwiches. come on warmer weather
