I Lost my left rear mud flap a little while ago to some thick mud, and didn’t go back to look for it because I figured it would only be like 15 bucks. Just looked them up and for a 2nd gen Tacoma, a set of 4 is around $150!!! What makes them so expensive and does anyone have any suggestions on where I can find some for cheaper?

All I can add is that the rigid ones look nicer but if you use them in deep snow and rutted out mud the flexible pure rubber kind will work better and last longer. Basically the will bend and not easily be ripped off the truck.

If you want the nice ones that belong on the truck pay the money. Wanna save money and drill a bunch of holes for some universal crap go to napa or fleet farm.

I made mine and they are pretty dang close to the heavy duty husky ones made for my truck. I was shocked when it was over 400 for my mud flaps

Nothing super bad to the bone. But they do everything they need. Front and rear. Saved some cash as well.

Check with an import bone yard. They wouldn’t likely go look for $15. But $50 should get their attention. When I had the shop. We bought the heck out of mirrors $50 and up to $300. Most will ship. Check with a Toyota shop. When I closed my shop, I still have 6 “other end” Ford truck rear bumper ends I had to buy in pairs when I needed one. Saw a guy on my way home with a bent one. Followed him home. He was tickled to get it for $100.
