The good news is that I have been catching tons of fish on the Whitefish Chain, unfortunately no matter what I use for bait, I can’t stop catching these pesky snakes. I even resorted to “walking the dog” with a 115 lbs. topwater, the biggest in my box. Any suggestions as to catching larger fish?

Any CPR suggestions? Water temp was only 70 degrees but the fish seemed tired from the battle.

just make sure you use a steady ‘retrieve’ technique and don’t jerk it too much…

Maybe you should try another color? Say maybe some type of tiger pattern?

I got a pointer this year. They are more sneaky and the bigger fish do not see them coming. The liver and white color has been working well for me.

Goat wouldn’t let me use him as bait like Jack did; however, he did offer to man the trolling rod so it seemed like a fair tradeoff.
