    I have had propane and I have had electric but need gas in my life. I fish Alberta Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Mainly be cutting a 10 inch hole and anyone that fishes up there knows how much ice you can be cutting through.

    So….. all augers are within 15 dollars of each other. Which auger to go with.

    Strikemaster pro 3. They are excellent augers. Should be able to find lots of good used ones for sale out there. Everyone seems to be going electric and dumping their gas augers. Guess that’s why strikemaster no longer makes them.

    Seems every store you go into around here has gas augers very very cheap. Like Hawghunter said, craigslist is loaded with with used ones cheap. I have a Lazer Mag that I don’t think I could get $100 for.
