I added a Vantage trolling motor to my boat. I also added one of those brackets to keep the motor from flopping around. In order to put the bracket on, I had to seperate the bottom seal to get it on there. Should I use some type of sealant on that joint? Thanks for any help, Ron…
I need to get one also. I just broke the end of the handle on mine, it swung around while trailiering and hit the big motor. 
What does the bracket look like? I searched on Minnkota’s web site and couldnt find it? Is it a aftermarket part?
It is after market, I found it on ebay. It was about 15.00. Here are some pics of bracket, hope this helps you. Ron
