Since I got my (used) boat, the pin bases in the floors seem to be way too tight. The pins won’t seat fully, even on the accessories that came with the boat.
I don’t know if there is some trick to putting these in or what, but I’ve tried rotating, pushing, pounding, hammering, etc, and none of them will seat fully. I’m to the point that I’m thinking about drilling them out, but thought I’d ask if there was some trick to it before I went that far.
Anyone know what I’m doing wrong? I know when I bought the boat, the previous owner had pictures with everything mounted fully, and even when I went to pick it up he had the ski tower in there and it was down all the way.
