What is the best crossover atv for trail riding/offroading and hunting? Any questions or comments are welcome….

Isn’t a crossover ATV like saying a crossover suv? Any way you look at it it’s still a Mini van?

If you like to “play”, stay 2 wheel drive. They’re more nimble, lighter, easier to handle, and with very little assistance they can work almost as hard as any 4×4 on the market.

If deep hole ruts, large plowable areas, and wide open trails are in your future, 4×4’s are probably as good as anything. You can find smooth ride packages and a big, comfy feel while having a ton of power and traction. But kiss donuts, powerslides, and jumps goodbye. On demand 4×4 models allow donuts but are still big and bulky for jumps and powerslides.

I will say, you’ll achieve a greater sense of accomplishment seeing what you can do with a 2 wheel drive sport/utility ATV. My entire family prefers 2 wheel models when it comes to the fun factor. Only in the work department do we even consider big 4×4 offerings.
