Drift Sock Size

    Thinking about getting a second drift sock for bigger winds. Right now I have a 36″ sock that I bought when I had a 15′ Mirrocraft. Now I have a 17′ Crestliner and the smaller sock doesn’t do a very good job of sloiwing the drift on bigger winds 10 mph +.

    Thinking about a 65″ sock for those 10 – 15 mph windy days when I’m casting musky baits. Sound about right or too big?

    Always look for the recommended size for your boat.
    Then buy one size larger.
    You’ll never go wrong doing it that way.
