    Hi,
I’ve got a ’95 Mercury 40hp 2 stroke 4 cylinder (long shaft, tiller with power t/t) and it looks like I’ve got an oil leak in the power tilt/trim system. I’m not sure yet exactly where the leak is, but am going to want to bring it in to a mechanic unless I can determine it is an easy fix.

So I am looking for recommendations for a mercury mechanic in the south metro or a bit farther if necessary. I’ve only had a mechanic do work on smaller (5-15hp) motors in the past so I have just taken the motor off the boat and brought it in. This year I bought a ’95 16′ 9″ Alumacraft Lunker and will need to bring the whole boat in for the service. Not a big deal, just a new experience for me leaving the boat at the shop.

Been a lurker for quite a while so this is my first post.

    Thanks for any help!
