I have one on my Competitor 175. Great for launching. There’s some trial and error getting the right depth for loading.
Couple buddies have had them on their boats for a few years, they worked well so I broke down and put one on last spring. Wish I would have done it sooner, works very well! I fish alone quite a bit and loading is so much simpler now.
For those who have it, how much give or take does it set the boat back on trailer from the original post location? One has been on my wish list for a while, my post is already as forward as it can go so may have to move the rear roller set back a setting to keep rear roller under the transom (hopefully not so much it messes with weight balance on tongue).
It doesn’t change much. I didn’t need to adjust anything on my 1850 Tyee with roller trailer
Love it! Haven’t had wet feet since I installed it. No more carrying rubber boots.
I didn’t need to adjust the post or anything else on my Karavan trailer.

Thata encouraging (I have a karavan also, albeit a 2001 model)
Anyone using a droto on a bunk trailer? If so do you still think it’s worth it?
I have it on my bunk…… I bought it that way so I have no personal experience with bunks without it. love it!
that said, I can imagine it is more advantageous to roller trailer owners.
Have one on my Comp 185 roller…will never own a roller trailer without one especially if you fish alone
Ordered one on my new bunk trailer so I’m happy to see these reviews. All the demonstrations on youtube are on bunks so I assumed it was made more for those. Glad to know the roller guys love it too
