The only MN ramp on the upper end of pool 7 is a private ramp that you have to pay to use. I don’t have any info on the guys name or contact info.

I am trying to figure out if I can do some training with my lab on a WMA or WPA in Wisconsin. The regs I found aren’t very clear, and I just want to make sure I am reading them correctly. Are all of these areas closed to training from April 15-July 31? If so, my only options are private land or a hunting club, or am I missing something. This is my first time training a dog, and I don’t want to break any regs.

    Thanks for the help.

I believe you are correct on your dates. Here is a link for more info if you need a training permit.

In the off season it is best to join a training group or hunt club. By joining a club it very well might open up new opportunities for land as well as bird sources if you need them.
