Had a pretty exciting hunt yesterday morning. Had 3 different immature bucks pass by my stand along with a doe and fawn. I blew a 20 yard shot on the doe as I didn’t notice a small limb which happened to send my arrow somewhere in the vicinity of timbucktwo

Twenty minutes after missing the doe this yote popped over the ridge and I managed to stop her at 30 yards. She made it about 30 yards before doing a cartwheel. The venison would have been sweeter but at least I was able to redeem myself a little.

Well done! You may have preserved some venison 2 ways…on your miss and on your kill!

I had the feeling of taking one of those earlier this year with the bow, maybe doesn’t replace shooting a good buck but its still fun!!
