We were out looking for sheds and Bob found more than just a shed I have pics on my phone but cant seem to get them to download to computer so I have included the live one. One of the only prospects we think we had at this place. He looked him over really well and couldnt find a mortal injury. Hundred yards from highway.

That’s stinks. We found a dead buck last year in the river – kind of the same thing with no wounds. It had a 17 inch G2.

At least he didn’t go to total waste.

That’s too bad. I also found one of our bucks dead before work on Saturday. He died next to a fence, so I think he must have been hit. So much for finding his sheds.

What a bummer. This guy was found last year while shed hunting! MNDNR aged him at 7 years old!

No, he got to keep the rack. The meat was no good.

i’ve seen the 17″ g2 buck and it’s almost like a double beam off the left side that splits where the g2 would start…. if it’s the deer he’s referring to

That’s a buddy of mine Matt. He was watching this buck for years and has endless trail cam pics of him. Sure is a shame, but after all….nature is nature.
