Does Wi. have a record class for velvet bucks?

    I have been looking to see if I can find if Wi. has a record class for velvet buck because I would like to think that mine should be able to make it? I have looked all over and am coming up dry… Any thoughts?

    It use to be illegal to shoot a buck in velvet even though the season was open so i doubt there’s a seperate class but then again i don’t know for sure, by the way congrats on your buck!

    Yes, congrats…. I don’t think the majority of people have even seen a buck in velvet once the WI season opens,unless the deer had some sort of hormone problem… Very unique to say the least, usually they are all hard horned by the opener!
