Spent a good amount of time south of Fronconia on sunday. The eyes where there also. At least in one spot. Checked a few of the usual spots with little success. Finnaly food the eyes in one of the holes in about 20′ to24′ of water. They where easy pickings. Started with throwing minnows at them and then experamented with some ringworms. They hit all 4 of the colors I threw at them but only hung on to the purple with the white tail. They also tackled some of the gray rubber minnows I offered them.
Size was about the same as it sounds like alot of other people are catching on the river. Brought home only three legals of the 60 or so fish we caught. I was suprised to find fish in only one spot up here.
