We fished from 4:30 until storms chased us off around 6:45. Ended up tonight with a limit again. Nicer fish, but far less, as others have said. I ended up with 16, 18, and 19.5 inch males, all still milking. I would agree the spawn is about over, and I think the bite may pick back up some next week. Fish are still shallow, in less than 6fow. I was throwing a 1/16 jig with Chartruese Power bait twister tipped with a minnow. Ended up with 10 nice yellow bass as well, with the biggest being 11.5″. I also got my first Muskie tonight. It was only 20 inches, and the camera was in the truck. I did get one poor picture tonight, before I cleaned the fish, but standing in waders in the water, its just not a good idea to take the camera with you.
