Good Fishing

Went fishing on Friday afternoon. Mostly a beautiful day, although did get rained on a bit. Trolled with Lindy Rig Floaters with minnows and leeched by the island. Got a 17 inch walleye and several nice yellow bass.

Moved to the reef that is in the South East part of the lake (can’t remember the name). Anchored and slip bobbered with leeches and minnows. Good action. Catfish, yellow bass, 15 inch walleye, and a decent crappie. Had to leave by 5:15 for a dinner date or would have done even better. Bobber hardly sat for 3 minutes before getting a bite. Fish seemed to be sitting right on the edge of the hump.

It was nice to catch keepable fish.

Clear Lake, believe it or not!

wow that is a great day fishing clear lake congrats.

Back for a short trip on Friday, June 30. Fished 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. using Lindy Rig floaters. Boat partner using leeches and I was using minnows. Caught a number of walleye, one 19 inch, one 16 inch, others sub legal. The keepers were on the minnows.
