    I would of thought the state record would have come from the Red River. Interesting.

    Technically it did. I’ve read that this fish was more than likely stocked from the Red.

    I wonder how much weight the fish lost by taking it to the scales the next day. looks to me it had been dead for a while when the pic. was taken.
    channels get patchy like that after they die! Nice fish!
