I am going somewhere tonight if anyone is looking for company. I don’t have a set spot in mind and waiting for that first run can get boring when you are alone.
Did I sound desperate enough?

I’ll probably bust open the piggy bank for some boat gas tonight if the weather is going to hold out… I know wwg was talking about possibly getting out also. There might be an open seat somewhere if you want it.
I made it out last night and broke the ice with a little flathead. The bully was dancing enough and there were a couple of short runs to keep it entertaining. However, the weather sure turned crappy. That couldn’t have helped the fishing.

When I come up with an excuse, I don’t need you shooting it down!
Well one thing is for sure, it didn’t help my fishing as I wimped out early.

Talk is cheap…photos and story…please.
I saw the photo.
You saw the photo that I took.
Short version of the story….. 3 in the boat, with one very nice one. I’ll let the man of the hour extrapolate on the details. Ahhhhh as a reminder, In your memoirs… Dont forget to honor the fallen MIA and possible POW “comrod”.
For every big fish there is a price to pay.
That’s where that pic came from! I couldn’t make out the face or the number…I was stuck on the fish!
Me being the new guy and wanting to meet some people and fishing buddies up here I’m always good to go fishing! I don’t care when and will chip in for gas too. Anything to learn the ropes. I get the blues just fine but have never caught the big flats!
