I think it was more luck than skill, but I got this little bugger at about 30 feet. And it did not come from someone’s backyard pond!

Its a bummer that we cant use those for bait…. I could see the Flats going crazy for something like that.
Nice shot

I bet they didn’t have an arrow through them!
If people wouldn’t release their pets into the wild, they wouldn’t get arrows through them!
I must admit, I never considered bowfishing goldfish!
Heck of a shot!
That just looks like the perfect bait.

New Avatar, Ralph in green tights, making out with a catfish
Maybe…but I have to catch one first! And I won’t make out with a channel cat, it’s got to be a flathead.
It has gotta be a Friday around here, everyone seems to be in good spirits
Fantastic weather, and a 38 lbser…what more can a guy ask for!
…I have to go mow the lawn so I can find one more tonight!
Just in case anyone was wondering, I contacted the DNR and it is perfectly legal to shoot koi and goldfish in the wild. Just stay away from your neighbor’s koi pond and his $200 koi!
