    I think it was more luck than skill, but I got this little bugger at about 30 feet. And it did not come from someone’s backyard pond!

    I remember when Crystal lake was full of them. The Carnies would toss them into the lake when they left town after wiz bang days. Then the tiger muskies did a number on them.

    Just in case anyone was wondering, I contacted the DNR and it is perfectly legal to shoot koi and goldfish in the wild. Just stay away from your neighbor’s koi pond and his $200 koi!
