Pool 3 Report

    Fished Pool 3 this afternoon from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Water low for this time of year, temp at 56 degrees. Nice afternoon, partly cloudy, light breeze. Caught 5 channels with the biggest at 28″. They were only interested in nightcrawlers. I hung fresh cut sucker in front of them for quite awhile and my partner caught 4 straight on nightcrawlers before I switched over. Moved up on a wingdam and started catching big carp and we had to much fun to go back to chasing channels. It was a great day on the water.

    Thats always nice to try as many things as you can, then find one bait that the fish will go after, like your nightcrawlers

    on Sunday, i made a run from BayPoint in RedWing, all the way up to Prescott on Pool 3. Took backwaters the whole way….lucky me for this high water. Heck….thats a pretty long run in a john boat….and then a ride back!
