Right now I’d settle for pretty much anything
‘Twas ladies’ night last night, though

    Question?

A: Would you rather have the first 30lb Flathead.

    OR

B: While fishing with 8 Dudes on your first cast of the evening hooking into a 16lb Flatty before your bait hits the bottom and then a short time later a 23lb Flathead followed by a 5 pounder…all the while nobody else “8 dudes” does squat….

Hmmm…. that’s a tough choice, Gary, but I think I would have to choose B.

Last night WAS a good night… it was the first night I have ever had a guy ask me to “rub his bullhead”. And it wasn’t Dave.

    Here’s my 16…

    And my 23…

I guess I don’t have a pic of the 3rd one, but you get the idea. Looks like Dave got a little guy after I went home too… I see a pic on the camera. So, I didn’t totally skunk ya all. Quit whining.

I’ll try to get some pics of your smaller one up later. It was interesting because the flathead actually got that bullie down his throat, and the spine of the bullhead was nearly poking through its stomach, with the tail still hanging from its mouth.

    Blur the background!

Nice job Sherry. I hope to have the picts I promised of the cat I caught, what, a month ago now? I suspect I’ll have them by Friday if I give them to Wallgreens to develop and put on a disc.

She usually does.. the photo editing program is acting up on her this morning. She is working on it as I type.

    Congrats Sherry,
Did you even get to set the rod down when the #16 hit?

Barely, Phil. I cast it and as it was sinking it stopped funny. I wasn’t sure what happened, so I just put my clicker on and started to sit it down, and it started running before I had my hand off the rod. Great way to start the evening.

Here’s the “belly ache” fish that Sherry caught. Can you tell where the bullhead is?

Yeah I guess he was a little hungry. Dave kept telling me I had a fish, but it wasn’t running so I waited.

Something tells me that guy will be ok as long as he doesn’t smack a rock or something to pop the spine through. Pretty cool though.

As for BK, I am ok with it. He cleans out all the walleye for us. I think we better stop kidding around. Everyone knows it was pool 8.
