channel Cats

    Man alive have the channel cats been on a feeding frenzy. Fished thur, fri,and sat. Lots of 2 and 3 pounders. 1 about 12 to 15 lbs. and one big one that got away.

    I have been having some trouble with them on the MN.I’m getting hit but they won’t commit.I only got two today one about 4lbs and a 8 1/2.Both came from fast water and on rock bars.couldn’t even buy a bite in the snags.Where are you fishing and what type of structure are they relating to?

    I have been fishing wingdams, You have to find the ones with the holes in them those are the best. I have been using stink bait, cut bait and live suckers. Fishing the deep holes during the day and the shallows at night. I have also been catching then in the snags with moderate current.
