I’m heading to Castle Rock in June and have enver been there. We will probably be fishing panfish and walleyes. Any one have any advice? I would appreciate any help…
Thanks in advance

I never fish the main lake but I do fish on Buckhorn a lot. Concentrate on the channel and edges for walleye and crappie. We do a lot of trolling with deep divers and drifting bobbers and jigs. Some days it’s hard to keep the whitebass off your line. Look for sharp dropping points as well.
Hi, june is a good month to be on Castle rock for sure. Drifting with jigs and split shot rigs work well and trolling with shad raps and other baits work good on many spots in the lake. Good luck and be carefull out there when the wind comes up, it can get pretty rough out there at times.
