Hit the Rock today with a buddy, and it had to be my least successful outing there in a boat. The ever present striper was elusive today. In four hours of trolling cranks, we boated 3. Three! However we did also boat 3 nice crappies, a fiddler cat, and one short wallleye. When it seemed like we finally had the whities located a storm just kind of “showed up”. And we tried to get off the lake in probably the nastiest weather I have ever encountered by boat (no lightning) Could not see the length of the boat in front of me trying to get off the lake. Not complaining though. I wasn’t at work!
