    Castle Rock Yellow river side has claimed 3 shanties to the bottom and almost got a forth. I have been told the area has now been marked and has open water.

    Also the Pete claimed 3 quads this last week at the heaves.

    Mike did this happen at the south end where they come on at the Turtle? I was there Friday and walked on near where the Little Yellow comes in and didn’t see anything out in that area. Matter of fact a guy drove a 1/2 Chevy pickup out near me !!! Thanks for the info though

    From my understanding it was almost straight across from the turtle. So many guys want to run there vehicles out there but the yellow river side this year and last has proven very unstable as far as ice being consistent. Personally I would not consider taking a vehicle out there until we had 16″ of ice or more.

    I agree on the 16″ or more !!! I’m glad where I usually fish I can walk to it. Just so there isn’t 5-6″ of snow on the ice.
